  1. OE – we love you so much. I know you were ready to go, but we will still miss you. I will always remember waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs when we would spend the night. I remember when I twisted my ankle and got to skip school and spend the day with you. I remember swing around fun town, grandparents days and trips to the park. And, of course, the OE cakes. You always made me feel loved. I’m glad my kids got to know you. Your strength, your faith and your love will never be forgotten. I love you, OE. Watch over us.

  5. Dear family Kubot,
I am reading this obituary years later after your beloved Johanna’s passing. My sincere condolences to all of you. I can see how much you loved her and miss her.

I came across it while doing some Google search for “Kubot” family members. I was lucky to have met John J. Kubot and his son John while I spent the summer 1977 in St. Louis with John (son).

John J. Kubot came over to Germany seeing us/me I believe it was 1978.

I recall John mentioned a few times his sons Leo and Paul while I was in St. Louis.

Possibly someone can reply if you see this message. I would be happy to reestablish Kubot family contacts.

    Best greetings,

    Tom Kubot
