Lashley, Jack D. Friday October 15, 2021. Beloved husband of Elaine Lashley (nee Holman). Dear Father of Curtis (Tamara) Lashley, Brian (Joan) Lashley, Steven (Vickie) Lashley, Lisa (Stephen) Isom and Mark (Julie) Lashley. Our dear grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 13, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and friend.
Jack served 4 years in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and was Past President of I.E.E.E. Jack earned his bachelor’s from the University of Illinois and his Master’s of Science with a major in electrical engineering from St. Louis University.
Jack enjoyed many activities, often with his family. Before retiring early as an engineer with Southwestern Bell, he participated in a bowling league, played tennis and jogged regularly, including competing in the St. Louis marathon.
After retirement, he and Elaine moved to their new home on Table Rock Lake, near Branson Missouri. After retirement, Jack enjoyed boating and fishing with his many grandkids, was very active in the Presbyterian church and became an avid photographer who developed his own pictures.
Jack was married to Janice Elaine Lashley for 66 years. Jack was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing.
Service: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Wednesday October 20, 11:00 am until service at 12:30 pm. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society.
