Richard (Rich) Dale Limpert
Age 82, passed peacefully in his home on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis (Bay) Limpert; daughters Sherrie Ysaguirre (Daniel, deceased), Shelia Mitchell (William), Kristina Rogers (Stephen), and son Richard (Todd) Limpert; grandchildren Danielle Ysaguirre (deceased), Melanie Ysaguirre, Joshua Rose, Zachary Limpert, Nicholas Rogers, Alexis Rogers, and Jaxon Limpert; and many wonderful great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Rich retired as a line haul truck driver after driving for over 40 years. He had a respect for conservation and enjoyed playing the lottery every week. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Rich is preceded in death by his father, Clarence (Bud) Limpert, his mother Ruth (Kraus) Limpert, and his two sisters, Frances Faulkner and Rose Brown.

Visitation will be at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Kutis Funeral Home (South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road), followed by a memorial service in his honor at 11:00 AM. A light brunch will be available for guests. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association at www.heart.org.

  1. I’m going to miss you so much, Dad. You were always my buddy and you were always there for me. Words cannot describe the knots in my stomach and the level of hurt in my heart that you’re gone. What brings me comfort is to know you are with our Savior and you are finally at peace. I made some
    big promises to you on your death bed and I meant every word. I won’t let you down, Dad. I love you.
