  1. Garth, We are neighbors and friends of your Mom and we are heartbroken, as you are. It has been such a joy knowing Carol and laughing and joking with her for the past 23 years. In fact, I believe she was probably the first person to welcome us when we moved onto our street and we found several things in common right away. She had a true zest for life. We were just talking again a few weeks ago about her sky-diving experience that I believe was to commemorate one of her milestone Birthdays. She will always remain in our hearts and memories as a unique and lovable friend and character. Our sincerest condolences to you and your extended family.

  4. Garth,
Carol, my dear friend through almost 70 years no matter where we lived or what was going on in our lives. Carol was always there, ready to help.
We had so much fun, so many laughs, especially at Carol’s off beat humor and total honesty. So many memories to cherish.
She was my sister in every way except by birth. I loved her and will miss her forever.

  5. Dear Garth. What do you say when we lose a lifelong true friend. We have been partners in adventures since high school. Her sense of humor never ended. I am so glad we had the chance to skydive together. Your spirit will always be with me and those you have touched. Garth and family my condolences

  6. Garth and Abby…Carol was one of a kind and one of my best friends. She was full of life and wity as they come. She loved to travel and got a magnet, or two, whenever she could to put on her fridge to remind her of all the places she had been, Carol has been my rock, I love her and she can’t be replaced.

Carol and I met the first day of High School and started an outstanding friendship and adventure for almost 70 years. Carol was always there for me even thought I haven’t lived in St Louis for 56 years . I can’t imagine a better friend or partner in crime .I am so grateful that we were able to share so much of our lives. She will always be in my heart and my memories

  8. Garth,
I’m truly sorry for your loss. Carol’s steady presence as my dad’s accountant and friend left a lasting impression on all of us. If there’s anything I can do to support you during this time, please let me let me know. My Dad not only cherished their friendship he truly respected and looked up to her. Hopefully they are together in heaven at peace watching over us.
