Montgomery, Robert W. “Bob”

Thursday, December 21, 2017. Dear son of the late Ward S. and Helen E. Montgomery. Bob graduated from Webster Groves High School in 1960 and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in 1964 from Westminster College located in Fulton, MO. He then served in The U.S. Air Force as a B-52 Navigator during the Vietnam conflict flying 61 combat missions in support of that operation and was awarded the Air Medal with 2 oak leaf clusters. Bob separated

from the Air Force in 1970 and worked as a contractor in his father’s commercial roofing and waterproofing business. After his Dad’s passing in 1977 he started a career at The Defense Mapping Agency in St. Louis as an Aeronautical Information Specialist and retired in 2003 with over 29 years of Federal service. Bob has lived at Laclede Groves Retirement Community in Webster Groves since 2010. Interment at Sunset Cemetery was held in private. A KUTIS AFFTON service.
