  1. My dear Darlene was an incredible person and friend. She’d played the devils advocate to my hare brained ideas but loved to visit me in Oregon while camp hosting. She was an internal auditor when we first met but joined me in rescuing plants which could have been the initial urge to plant that tomato garden with Tom. She will be missed

  2. Great memories of a teenage Darlene, my cousin with 5 brothers, who escaped to our house, every so often in the summer, my two sisters , Darlene, and me discussing, electric rollers, hairspray, cute boys, etc. without being teased by her brothers. I was blessed to attend her wedding to Tom, and actually went on a few double dates with them, as they tried in vain, to fix me up with one of Tom’s friends. Through the years our encounters were more sporadic, but one thing that never changed was Darlene’s infectious laugh and phenomenal sense of humor.
