Donna Pigg (née Blake)
May 3, 1955 – August 27, 2024
Donna Pigg, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, and friend passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 69. A longtime resident of St. Louis, Missouri, Donna will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Born on May 3, 1955, Donna was the daughter of George and Barbara (Manning) Blake. She is survived by her devoted husband, Mike Pigg; daughters Christina Ly (Cheam), Nicole Devereux (Ross), and daughter-in-law Kelley Bobelak (PJ); sister Debbie Beck; and her cherished grandchildren: CJ, Carsyn, Cahle, Claire, Quinn, Desmond, Logan, and Silas. Donna is also survived by numerous family and friends who love her dearly.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents George and Barbara Blake; brothers George “Michael”, James “Chick”, John, Danny, and Elmer; and sisters Patricia and Barbara “Nene”.
A dedicated and involved member of her community, Donna retired from the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis. She was also actively engaged in the Bayless School Community through the Mother’s Club and Board of Education during her daughter’s attendance from 1987 – 2004. After her retirement, she delighted in spending time with her family, playing slot machines, and watching Lifetime television.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Missouri in Donna’s memory.
Visitation at Kutis affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO 63123, on Friday, August 30, 2024, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with funeral service at 1:00 PM. Procession immediately following the service to: Park Lawn Cemetery, 1800 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63125
I worked with Donna at AGC of St. Louis and enjoyed our chats and the laughter we shared. She was always a resilient woman through every trial she faced. My condolences to the family.
Mike Pigg, I’m very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you loosing two wives in a life time is really too much. I didn’t know Donna, but for you to marry her tells me she was a very good person. May she rest now in peace. Prayers for you Mike, for peace with in. God bless you all.
