  1. What a loss Bob’s passing is to his Family, friends and his broader community. A ‘storyteller’ who could engage you with his own life stories or simply with his creative insights. His life’s adventures were legendary. However, this present heavenly journey will be the most wonderful one for him…‘I can only imagine’. Love and prayers for all the Family.

  5. The entire Grote family mourns the loss of a very dear friendship that spans fifty plus years. Bob and Dee attended our wedding and have been like family ever since. We enjoyed vacations together in St Maarten and many trips to the Lake of the Ozarks, also many visits to our home in Florida. Bob had a full life and enjoyed himself. He will be greatly missed. Prayers are with his entire family at this very sad time.

  7. I fished with Bob, attended baseball games with him, had many lunches with him, and celebrated many holidays with him. But, most significantly I sat next to him in church and we prayed and worshipped together praising our God.

I will miss him very much.

  11. My sympathies to the family and friends for the loss of a really great guy. I first met Bob in 1982 when he offered to let me stay (rent of course) in the lake-house on Lake St. Louis during my relocation with Moore (and while my home was being built). Bob taught me a lot about Customers, and I respected that and carried that throughout my career. I maintained contact with Bob until recently (mid 2022) when correspondence seemed to suddenly stop. It was an honor to know him.
