Beloved husband of Judith “Judy” Schmitz (nee Smith) of 50 years; dearest father of Eric (Nancy) and Jeremy (Shaina) Schmitz; dear grandfather of Will, Nicole, Ella Schmitz, Jonathon Ogilvy, Kassidy, Kyra Schmitz and one on the way; brother of Al (Joan), Erv (Kathy), Vernon (the late Betty) Schmitz, Mary (the late John) Loch, Jimmy, Larry (Ree) Schmitz, Carol (Rudy) Wolf, Ray (Pam) Schmitz, the late Paul Schmitz and Laverne (Val) Meyer; brother-in-law of Bob (Rose) Smith and Mary (companion Pat Finefield) Ledwidge; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

  1. So sad that another Holy Family “GOOD GUY” has passed so young. Bill was a loyal friend and fun to be around. We all did our best to keep up production at Anheuser-Busch so that Bill would have job security. So many great memories. Chris and I send our sincerest condolences to Judy, Eric, Jeremy and their spouses.
    May Bill rest in peace.
