My sweet and funny Uncle! I will be forever grateful I got to visit with you one last time a few months ago. You will be forever loved and never forgotten ❤️.
Roger was like the brother I never had. My fondest memories go back many years when we both started our family lives and spent many summers together at Lake of the Ozarks. We went through high school and college together. We both stood up for each other at our weddings. I know he believes in Jesus Christ and I know he’s at peace at home with his Lord. I will miss him until we are together again.
Yesterday was our class reunion and all of us missed Roger. Roger was a good person, warm hearted, with a love for people. I remember the good days at Affton High and when our children went to the same preschool. There was also St. Patrick’s Day when Roger dyed his hair green and couldn’t get the color out for a while.!
He touched many lives, and will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers will be with his family.

Roger was always a fun laid-back individual which was a good quality considering his son Brian and myself probably gave him a reason or two not to be. He and Denise were always like another set of parents to me. For that I am forever grateful. Roger truly had a wonderful and full life which he was able to see come full circle, thoughts and prayers are with the Shannon family.
A wonderful neighbor. Will miss seeing Him
taking walks with his lovely wife. Prayers for
His family and friends.
I didn’t know Roger very well but I was in the same class as his wife Denise. My deepest sympathy to Denise and her family on Roger’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Great friend, enjoyed many good times at the Lake. Always remember his noisy horn in his golf cart. He will be missed, May he rest in peace.
Met Roger 50 + years ago while walking our dogs in our neighborhood . We became as tight as bark on the tree. Saturday nights meant out to dinner.
we traveled to Florida annually spent much time at Lake of Ozarks and spent a a trip to Quebec and Montreal. When Kathleen died 11 years ago Denise and Roger kept me going visiting each other at home and going out on Saturday night. The Shannon’s were fantastic friends and Roger was always available when I needed him! RIP Roger

Denise and family, I just heard today from Larry Gene that Roger passed, how sad this made me, I worked for and with Roger for 13 years, Roger was a great inspiration to myself and to many others at Sidener Supply. I always said Roger could sell ice cubes to Eskimos. What a great man he was, we’ll see him again soon.
