Vargo, Joseph John, baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on The Feast of St. Joseph, The Patron Saint of Peaceful Passing on March 19, 2025.

Beloved husband of Kathy Vargo (nee Kell); loving father of Tom (Mary) Vargo, Steve (Laura) Vargo, Terri (Greg) Burton and Kate (Jim) Marnatti; cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 8; our dear uncle, brother-in-law and friend.

Services: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Wednesday, March 26, 9:45 am to St. Paul Catholic Church for 10:30 am mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimers Association, appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

  2. Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Joe….my father, Gene, shared a room with “Grandpa Joe” at his skilled nursing facility on two occasions and he always had a big smile on his face when we entered. Kathy, you and your family were so dedicated…we send our prayers…
