In Loving Memory

Webb, Chase

December 31, 2001 - October 24, 2026

Chase Webb was a New Year’s Eve baby, born on December 31, 2001. Tragically, his life was cut short on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the age of 24, when he was a passenger in a devastating car accident on Highway 30 (Gravois Road) involving a wrong-way driver.

Chase leaves behind his loving mother, Pam Kary Webb, and his beloved five-year-old son, Axton, who will forever hold a special place in his heart and legacy. He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Webb, and his grandparents, including his grandmother Joyce Peck, whom he had the opportunity to know. We can find comfort that Chase is reunited with his father. Chase was a half-brother  to Corey Webb and Angie Webb, a nephew to Craig Kary and Todd Kary, and an uncle to Alia and India. Growing up, Chase enjoyed skateboarding, riding his Haro bike with friends, and playing video games, particularly PlayStation.  Some of his happiest memories were made spending time with family at Lake Hannah, where he loved riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes on the property. He also cherished traveling with his parents, Pam and Chris.  Their favorite vacation was St. Croix. Chase was a quiet, calm, and gentle soul with a kind heart and a caring nature. He enjoyed going to the skating rink, listening to music, and watching movies.

He had a special way of making people laugh, helping them forget their troubles, and bringing a little happiness into their lives. He naturally gravitated toward being the peacemaker, always wanting everyone around him to get along and be happy.  Helping others came naturally to Chase, and his kindness and empathetic heart was a reflection of the person he was. One of the sweetest memories of Chase was the way he looked after his mom. He wanted to make sure she got enough rest, and he would stand in the doorway like a parent, telling her, “Go to bed!” He would even turn off the light when “HE” decided it was time for her to sleep, whether she was ready or not. It was one of those little things that captured Chase’s personality and the special bond he shared with his mom.  Chase and his Mom laughed together often, especially when she would tell him ” You’re my favorite son!” Of course Chase knew there was no competition!  -Just a reminder that love is often found in the simplest, most unexpected moments.  Chase shared a close bond with his best friend, Jonn Howard, who remains hospitalized from the same tragic accident.  Their friendship is a testament to the connections and memories that make life so meaningful. Though Chase’s time here was far too short, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
