She was a choir member, taught Sunday School and Girls in Action (GAs), served in the nursery, counted the tithes and offerings, decorated the old Mattese Baptist basement to transform it into an enchanted hall for the annual Sweetheart Banquets, and accompanied countless teenagers to Marquand Baptist Camp for youth camps.

I am so sorry that I will be out of town and can’t attend Mag’s funeral. Spent so many happy hours with Mag, she was a true friend. I miss you kids, Allen, Tricia, and Ryan. Will always cherish our time at Mattese and Canaan.
May God Bless you all.
I will miss Mag. She was a true friend. Remember the time we spent at Mattese and Canaan. Miss seeing you kids.
May God comfort you in your time of sorrow.
Margaret was my neighbor for 30 years. We had fun together
Especially long talks on her front porch. I was so glad I saw her about 4 weeks before she passed
Mag was such a sweetheart, she will always have a special place in my heart. I recall playing piano countless times for her while she sang solos at church. I will never be able to hear “The Old Rugged Cross” again without thinking about my dear friend.
My God bless and comfort all of you.
My favorite memories of Maggie is raising our voices in song together. She and I always sang harmonies instead of the normal soprano. I love her very much and know she is in that Heavenly choir with my parents and praising God’s Name! Love to you all.
