Grab, Nancy Carol

Nancy Carol Grab (née Hermann), aged 76, passed away on September 1, 2024. Born on January 9, 1948, to Eleanor and Norval Hermann. Nancy was known for her radiant personality, marked by kindness, generosity, and a friendliness that made her a beloved figure to all who knew her.

Nancy’s legacy is carried on by her loving niece and nephews, Shelly, Tom, Ron, and Joe; cousins, Brandon Erwin and Jayne Muich.  Her memory will be treasured by her special friends, Blagica Brekalo and Carol Aschentrop. She was a cherished aunt, godmother, cousin, and a beloved friend to many.

Nancy’s life was one of vibrant social connection and heartfelt relationships. Her open heart and caring nature left a lasting impact, embodying the true spirit of never knowing a stranger.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Nancy can be made to Mercy Hospital South – de Greeff Hospice House, which reflects her compassionate nature and commitment to supporting others in their times of need. Nancy’s life and spirit will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

  3. Aunt Nancy, Papa Norvell and Mama Eleanor were very close to me and my family. The whole family was a part of our family for holidays and although not by blood they were our grandparents and she our auntie, I still visit their grave for the holidays and I will hers too. Love you Auntie Nancy from the bottom of my heart.

  4. It saddens me to hear the news of Nancy. She was my banking buddy for many years. She was so thoughtful and generous, never forgetting a birthday. We lost touch over the years and I tried to reconnect but was unsuccessful. I cherish the memories we had. Deepest sympathy to Shelly and her nephews who she talked about so often. RIP Nancy.
