Richard “Rich” Pidgeon on Thursday, January 22, 2026. Loving husband of Gail (nee Porter). Father of Rick, Lisa DeBernardi, Michael (Dianne) and the late Michele. Loving Grandfather of Gregory and Garrett. Son of the late Francis and Louise, Brother of the late Francis (Catherine) and Dear Uncle and Friend to many.
Rich was a graduate of Washington University in St Louis and was a dedicated Police Officer for 30 years for the St Louis Metropolitan Police Department. He was a model train enthusiast and enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services: Visitation Thursday, January 29 9:00 AM until Mass at 10:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (4556 Telegraph Road 63129). Interment Mt Hope Cemetery.
Gail, you & Rich made a perfect picture of Happiness!! I did not know Rich real well, but I new he was a Good Man by how Happy you & him were together.

I worked with Rich for six years in the Second District. A really great guy. They don’t make ’em like that anymore. Such a shame. Best wishes to Rich’s family.
