passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Loving husband of the late Shirley L. Plumlee (nee Dallas); beloved father of M. Wayne (Jeanne) Plumlee Jr. and Dana (Bob) Goodman; dearest grandfather of Teriann, Bethany (Josh), Christopher (Kristin), Erin (Jordan), Jordan and Olivia; dear great-grandfather of Ellie, Olivia, Luke, Silas, Nicholas, Margot, Jackson, Archie and Theo; brother of the late Harry and Marian “Spider” Plumlee; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Luke was a fireman with the City of St. Louis for 31 years. He was an avid racing pigeon fancier for over 50 years, and part of the Mt. Pleasant racing pigeon club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight, 8050 Watson Rd., Suite 240, St. Louis, MO 63119.
Service Tuesday, March 10, 10:30 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
