Mel passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He will be reunited with his soulmate, Sharon Joann Judge, for eternity. His one true love.
Proud father of Annie Cashion (Frank) and Jim Judge (Joanne). Insanely proud grandfather to his entire purpose for living, Matthew, Isabella, Molly, Sharon and his best buddy Frankie.
Beloved son of the late Marion and Olivia Judge. Big brother to his favorite travel companion, Mary Knight (along with his lifelong friend, the late Warren Knight). Little brother to the late Susan Judge.
Mel’s life was a full one. Grandpa. Husband. Dad. Mentor. Coach. Athlete. Businessman. Aquarist. Bird hobbyist. History buff. Carpenter. Muscle car enthusiast. Music lover. Fisherman. OG. If you were in his circle, you knew it. A man who could have thrown in the towel a long time ago but taught us what really matters in this life instead. It made us want families of our own, because he did it so well. While we are sad to see him go, the lessons he taught us and keeps teaching us will guide us the rest of the way.
Services; Funeral from Kutis South County (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Tue. April 7th 9:30AM for 10AM Mass at Seven Holy Founders. Private interment at a later date. Visitation Mon. 4/6 from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, Masses or contributions to the World Bird Sanctuary can be made here.
