She was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts to the late Rosemary and Charles

Barbara was preceded in death by Step-father Frank Furtado

Husband Donald Wayne

her siblings Marie, Charles and June

her sons Gary and Wayne

Barbara is survived by her sister Sally

Son Darin

Grandchildren Adam and Nicholas(Tanya)

Great-grandchildren Brayden and Huntleigh

She was a beloved aunt, cousin, friend and will be greatly missed by all.

Barbara was a proud veteran of the United States Navy

She was a longtime member of the Missouri Botanical Garden(Cactus Society)

She loved to square dance and was in a bowling leagues for many years bowling her last games on April 1, 2026

Her love for the Lord Jesus and her faith in His love showed in how she lived her life and treated everyone she encountered.

 

Psalm 34:4-5

I sought the Lord, and he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look at Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

SERVICES: Visitation will be at Kutis Funeral Home Affton 10151 Gravois St. Louis Mo 63123 Monday April 13 2026 4-8pm(Family start at 3) Her Funeral Service will be at Evangel Temple in Maplewood Tuesday 10am with burial being at Jefferson Barracks after.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital or Missouri Botanical Gardens

  1. I knew Barb from square dancing. She was a lively, lovely person. Always smiling, giving hugs and kisses. She remembered what was happening in a person’s life the last time she saw them and asked about
    It. She remembered my birthday even after I quit Square dancing. She made one feel special. I will definitely miss her.
