  1. I knew Barb from square dancing. She was a lively, lovely person. Always smiling, giving hugs and kisses. She remembered what was happening in a person’s life the last time she saw them and asked about
It. She remembered my birthday even after I quit Square dancing. She made one feel special. I will definitely miss her.

  5. Barbara was my best friend ever since our dogs brought us together 20 years ago this month! She had an inner strength that came from her deep & glorious Faith in Jesus, our Lord & Saviour! I never saw her in fear of anything in this world! Her life was never easy. She did live comfortably however… Barbara was an ‘Overcomer’ who made life better for all those who knew her! She was a ‘Hugger’ who would embrace anyone seeking Comfort & Love from a little Lady with a heart Bigger than she was!!! I’ll keep her in mt Heart Always, with Love, Admiration, and a longing to see her again in Heaven when my day comes! Amen & Amen!

  6. Words can’t really express the loss that I feel. Barb was my bowling teammate for several years. She was great friends with my mom, Marlene, and when my mom died this past October at age 94 – Barb was there offering love and support to me and my family. In fact, when I told my nieces that Barb had passed, they said, “Oh, Barb and Gram are bowling together again!” The entire Kelly/Brinkmann family sends you our deepest sympathies at this time. Barb was an absolute gem and will be deeply missed. – Rev. Kim and JR Brinkmann

  7. Barbara was a beautiful person. She hugged everyone even those that were homeless. She worked with her church and took food and things to them. We have been friends for a long time. Square dancing, I got her to start bowling. Don’t know how she bowled with that heavy ball, but she was a good bowler. Barb won many prices for her cactus plants; they were quite unique. Her cat found a wonderful home with her esp. after her husband died. Always happy and a good friend. Will miss her.

  10. Barbara’s smile was one of the first things a person would notice, she was full of love & life always as a committed Christ Follower. We went to the same church and shared a wonderful friendship. Barbara brought energy and love to whomever she met, she was amazing. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her friends and family. God has a special place for Barb in Heaven.
    We love you, Barbara Gardner!!

  12. Barbara has been like a mother, sister, best friend and of course wonderful neighbor to me for more than 30 years. We regularly remarked at the beauty of nature and flowers, that only God could bring such amazing colors into our lives. Her faith provided her such peace, even during the hardest times and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. I will forever love her, and Don, but I know she is where she wants to be and with the family, she has been missing. I miss her so much already, but I am happy for her to be with God and rewarded for the enormous love she has shared with us all.

  14. Barb was my neighbor growing up on Marquette. Always seemed to catch me going back and forth to the store or butcher for my Mom and would pass by her house. Always offered me a cool drink in a hot day and all sorts of snacks she may have had in had. Always a pleasure to be around, so lovely and cheerful.

As an adult we would talk about my parents and would stop by the old neighborhood every time I was in town from Georgia. Recently, she visited my church and enjoyed worshipping with her!

See you in heaven Barb!! Kiss and hug my parents for me!!

    Love and Miss you much!!
