Gayle Marie Earthman, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Gayle was born on January 23, 1933, in Amarillo, Texas and grew up in Hereford, Texas. Beloved wife of the late Hallie B. Earthman, Jr. Loving mother to Don H. (Diane) Earthman, Kyle F. (Melissa) Earthman and the late Carla S. Melton. Loving grandmother to Clayton (Regina) Melton and Madeleine N. Melton, great grandmother to Jackson, Liam and Maxine Melton and friend to many.
Long-time member of South County Baptist Church and former choir member. During Gayle’s long life she enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, traveling and caring for her family.
A special thank you to the staff at Delmar Gardens South and Pathways Hospice for giving Gayle such good care over the years.
SERVICES: A private funeral service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Pathways Hospice appreciated.
