Arthur “Art” Hessler Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sunday, October 4, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Loretta T. Hessler (nee Hanrahan). Arthur was a loving father to Kris (Denise), Micki (Mike) Vancil, Karen (Andy) Smith, Sandy (Harold Sher) Short, Eric Hessler, and the late Rick (Lori) and Kimberly Hessler. He was a devoted grandfather to Shannon ( Michelle) Hessler, Nick (Stacey) Hessler, Hannah (Miles) James, Lindsey (Fiance’ Joe Kabance) Hessler, Madison (Bo) Sheahan, Emily (Brandon) Gipson, Jake Short, and Jessica Short, Eli Hessler and Keegan Hessler and a proud great-grandfather of 8 and great-great-grandfather of 5; cherished brother of Terry (Linda) Hessler and the late Bill (Kathy) Hessler; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Arthur will be remembered with love by his family and friends. He was funny, loved telling jokes, golfing, fishing and was a very social man, never met a stranger. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd on Tuesday, October 13, 11 a.m. Burial Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of you choice appreciated. Visitation, Monday October 12, 4-8 p.m.
