Having been Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Patricia Ann Hoffmann (nee Franken) of Murphy, Missouri passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026 at her home surrounded by family and friends.
Born on June 30, 1930, she was the beloved child of Henry and Louise Franken (nee Walterscheid). A lifelong and devout Catholic, Pat lived her faith daily through acts of charity, quiet devotion, and, until her later years, as an active member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in High Ridge, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by beloved husband, Melvin, her siblings and siblings-in-law, several nephews and nieces, and many other friends and relatives. She is survived by a large extended family who remember her fondly and with great affection.
SERVICES: A Rosary for the repose of Pat’s soul will be prayed at 9:40am on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (3009 High Ridge Blvd, High Ridge, MO 63049). Visitation will follow until 10:45am and the Mass of the Resurrection will be prayed at 11:00am. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at 1:00pm the same day.
The family wishes to express its deepest gratitude to her primary caregivers, Tracey, a family friend, and Chris, one of her nieces, who were with her on a daily basis. Additionally, the family is sincerely grateful to the staff of AccentCare who cared for Pat in her final days. We commend her nurses Birgit & Cheri as well as her aid, Melissa, for their gentle, compassionate care for Pat and her family.
