(nee Espen), Baptized in the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Monday, November 13, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late John A. Amato; daughter of the late Leona and Otto Espen; sister of the late Vivian Straumann;  cherished aunt of Ginita Grief, Diane Duenwald, Michael, Steven and Joe Amato and the late Vance Straumann; sister-in-law of Louis and Mary Ann Amato; our dear niece, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin, mentor and friend to many. Jean taught at St. John the Baptist School for over 23 years.

Services: Funeral from KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Monday, November 20, 11 a.m. to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for an 11:30 a.m. Mass.  Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Contributions to S.F.A. or Masses  preferred. Visitation Sunday, 2-4 p.m.
