Maria Grazia Gallo Reavis, passed on December 10th, 2018 in her home in Marine, Illinois after a long battle with cancer. Grazia served our nation as an Air Force spouse for 34-years.
She leaves behind her husband Colonel James C. Reavis, United States Air Force Retired, daughter Jennifer of St. Louis, son Jeffery of Centreville, VA, and grandchildren Chiara, Joshua and James, sisters Ilda, Rosetta, Marisa, and Ivanna of Livorno, Italy. Viewing will be at the Kutis South County Funeral Home on December 16th from 4 pm to 8 pm. Grazia will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri, at noon on December 17th among the honored dead.
Grazia was preceded in death by her father Domenico, mother Maria, and brothers Antonio and Alessandro all of Livorno, Italy.
The family wishes to express their profound gratitude to the men and women of BJC’s Center for Advanced Medicine, the Siteman Cancer Center, Evelyn’s House, and Hospice Care for their tireless efforts to extend Grazia’s life as long as they could. Their compassion and caring deeply touched the family. Cancer is a terrible disease that impacts all families. Donations to the cancer cause of your choice is requested in lieu of flowers.
