Chorosevic, Lawrence J. “Larry”
Born in St. Louis, MO., on September 8, 1948. He graduated from Jennings High School in 1966. He then enlisted in the U.S Military and proudly served in the Coast Guard from 1967 to 1971. After Larry was honorably discharged, he went on to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University. He went on to work for the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years, retiring in 2004. For the last 20 years, he enjoyed a rewarding career as an Adjunct Professor at Webster University. Larry was the proud commander of AMVETS Post 156 and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1028.

Larry peacefully passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife and sweetheart, Diane, his loving and devoted children Jamie and Pat Chorosevic, Kevin and Larrie Zabel, and his most precious, adorable grandchildren Jackson and Blake. They made his life so wonderful. He is lovingly remembered by his dear brother and sister Carl and Jeri Schultz, his nephews Christopher and Justin Pilarski and many wonderful friends, his best pals, and golfing buddies. He was the beloved and dear son of the late Lawrence W. Chorosevic. May they now rest in peace together in heaven. Carry on soldier, we’ll see you in our dreams.

SERVICES: Private interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AMVETS Post #156, 2367 England Town Rd., Oakville MO., 63129, care of Wayne Winters. A Kutis Affton Service

  1. Larry and I were next door neighbors for years until I moved from Jennings to Parkway for my senior year of HS.. I have warm memories of Larry “Butch” and his sister Judy along with their family.

  2. So sorry the see this.Larry was a big part of my Coast Guard life.was like family to my wife and I .Its been 56 years and seems like yesterday.RIP my friend.
