(nee Mahler) age 87, fortified with the sacrament of Holy Mother Church and passing away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 59 years to the late Richard Tieman; loving mother of Linda Marciniak, Janet Tieman (Michael Foster), Cheryl Tieman, and Kathleen (Dennis Lancaster); dearest grandmother of Michele Laws (Matt), Christine Marciniak, Nicole Tieman Foster, and the late Robert Marciniak and Anthony Tieman; dearest great grandmother of Sophia Worth; dear daughter of the late Mathias and Gizella Mahler; dear sister of the late George and Ernest Mahler; our dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend.

SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis City Chapel, 2906 Gravois Ave., Friday, December 18, 10:00 AM to Sts. Peter and Paul Church for 10:30 AM mass. Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Mrs. Tieman was a teacher for over 30 years, serving many of those in the Granite City School District. Visitation Thursday, 3-8 PM.
