Bagley, Virgil E., 84, died Wednesday January 27, 2021. He was born on September 29, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri to Virgil Charles and Mildred Elizabeth (Hassel) Bagley. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a beer brewer for 36 years and 4 months for Anheuser-Busch. A resident of Okeechobee, Florida for over 20 years, having come from Excello, Missouri, he was a member of Immaculate Conception in Macon, Missouri and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Okeechobee. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially treasured time he spent with his family.
Mr. Bagley was preceded in death by his parents; and daughters-in-law, Coleen Bagley and Tina Bagley.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Margaret Bagley, of Okeechobee; sons, Mike Bagley, of Desoto, Missouri, Mark (Jan) Bagley, of Imperial, Missouri, Matt (Dawn) Bagley, of Arnold, Missouri, Rick Rogers, of Turtle Lake, North Dakota, and Robert Rogers, of Kirkwood, Missouri; daughters, Karen Thevel, of Sullivan, Missouri, and Sharon (Steve) Crostic; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Wednesday February 10, 9:15 am to Queen of All Saints Church for 10:00 am Mass. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Visitation Tue 4-8 pm.
