In Loving Memory of Adam Michael Klos
June 10th, 1989-March 25th, 2021
Adam Michael Klos was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating Mehlville High
school Adam pursued his dreams of becoming an artist/musician. Adam worked for his father
(Dave) at his family-owned water-jet company alongside his older brother Ryan.
Since he was a young man, it was clear what Adam aspired to be. In high school he started
taking guitar lessons and realized he had found his true love. Working hard to get his grades up,
he was finally able to convince his Mom to buy him his 1st electric guitar and the rest was
history. As Adam grew older his love for music grew with him. Through his early twenties Adam
performed at several different venues around St. Louis, but music was not his only love. Adam
very much enjoyed expressing the artistic side of his personality through his love of drawing,
tattooing, and sculpting. Usually turning pieces of what most would consider “junk” into
beautiful works of art. One of his favorite art projects was tattooing his best drawings on his
body, transforming himself into his own work of art.
Adam also had a deep connection with animals and mother nature. He would often speak of
his beloved dog “Tux.” His dream was to own a dog sanctuary and breed them. Adam
reminisced about his childhood memories of spending time in the “country,” Richwoods, MO
with his Grandma Bobbie and Grandpa John, they would take walks along the property and
explore old remains of rundown houses and admire the nature that surrounds the area. Adam
would find old skulls and bones of small animals (Grandma would take them home and disinfect
them so Adam could keep them.)
Adam was a loving son to his mother Diane (Nick), his father David (Ann),
stepsisters, Joyce and Jayme (Wes), proud big brother to Nicky (Valerie), and loved & looked up
to his older brother Ryan. Adam loved his Grandmother Bobbie and Grandfather John very
much, he loved his Uncle Steve and Uncle Dave as well, and spoke highly of his cousins Zack,
Craig, and Lorin. Preceding him in death was his Grandmother Eileen and Grandfather Russ,
Grandfather John and Uncle Dave. Adam was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin,
and a friend to all that knew him.
Adam was taken from this earth much too early to comprehend, leaving his closest loved ones
completely heartbroken and devastated. His amazing personality and incomparable talent
will forever spark a fire in the hearts of the ones who knew him best. Adams’ soul will live
through us all in a magnificent way that words simply cannot explain.
Those we love don’t go away; they walk with us every day. Unseen,
unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed, and very dear.
