Joan was a good friend to my wife and me. She cared and supported us and our family. She was a character. She loved to share a good piece of pie, especially during apple and peach season. She would enjoy a good beer. She laughed easily with us. She always asked about our son and daughter and their family. We will miss her, but she will always be part of our lives.
