In Loving Memory

Tinkham, Edwin

of St. Louis passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023.  Beloved husband of Jeanette Tinkham and father of Karen (Raymond) Griesedieck, Jim (Cindy) Tinkham, Jane (Rob) Cook, John (Liz) Tinkham and Tom Tinkham. Treasured grandfather of fifteen.

Ed graduated from Washington University in 1950 and entered the Army shortly thereafter.  Upon discharge, he made a career in sales and marketing of hospital equipment.  Except for brief stints in Indiana and Texas, he was a lifelong resident of St. Louis.

He was a kind and gentle man with an easy manner, a quick wit and a keen sense of humor.  He gave generously of himself to family and friends and will be sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by Jeanette, his wife of 67 years, his parents, and his brother Bob. He is survived by his brothers Cliff (Zelta) and Ron (Judy) and all his children and grandchildren.  His final years were made easier by the dedicated staff at Cape Albeon.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Friday, February 17, 9:30 a.m. until funeral service at 10:30 a.m.  Interment J. B. National Cemetery.
