Patient, kind and caring, understanding, and never judgmental.  The most selfless soul anyone knew, always eager to help.  The caretaker of all people.  The brightest light on any day.  The mother anyone could hope for, and the absolute best grandma.  Beth loved swimming, the lake, and growing exquisite gardens.  She enjoyed many years caring for children at Special School District. 2. Beth is most likely my first friend and remained my friend my entire life. She is absolutely part of the fabric of my life. I learned to water ski with Beth, smoke a cigar and stay up for an all nite sleep over. She was a connector with friends and a positive personality. In recent years I loved our “swims” at Holiday Shores with Mrs.Russell when we got to catch up and reminisce. During this last 6 weeks she was so very upbeat and brave and hard working. When I visited Beth she was so concerned about me and driving in traffic! I admire Beth and I will miss her .

  3. Beth never knew a stranger.. always extended a friendly hand. She was a driving force to keep “Class of ‘73” together… a great friend to laugh & cry with… loved her children and grandchildren… we reconnected after many years through our moms.. Love her dearly… too young, too fast.. had more to do in this lifetime. Now… she’s a guardian Angel to watch over all those she loves💔🙏🏻💔

  4. My heart hurts to hear this news. Beth and I were classmates and friends at Staunton schools. Sending love and prayers to her children and family. May the memories of our dear Beth comfort us now and in the days ahead.

  5. When we were little, Beth and I dressed alike, ate dog biscuits together, banged our heads together while hanging on the monkey bars, played a lot of hopscotch, roller skated, listened to her parents Frank Sinatra albums, laughed & argued & then laughed more, sang songs with dirty lyrics, etc. And as we got older, we would take her parents’ sailboat in the middle of the lake, turn it over on purpose just so we could put it upright again. We swam, water skied, swung on tire rope swings into the lake, smoked Swisher Sweets, sang to James Taylor & Carol King albums, etc. She was my friend and I will always love her and will always miss her.

  7. Went to our 50th year high school reunion last nite and was looking forward to catching up with Beth. It was a great nite, but also very sad when Peggy told me that she had recently passed. Peggy said Beth was so looking forward to our reunion. So many good memories of the pool games and get togethers at Beth’s mom and dads house during our high school years. Based on the comments listed here, she continued to make a positive impact on those around her which doesn’t surprise me. Beth, it is as my pleasure to call you my friend.
