Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, July 24, 2023. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Beth” Kissel (nee Klauer) for over 30 years. Dearest father of John (Anna) Kissel. Son of the late Aloys and Rosemary (nee Poelker) Kissel. Dear brother of Karen (the late William) Bartlett, Joanne Kissel and Thomas (Cathy) Kissel. Son-in-law of Hilda and the late Erwin Klauer. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd) on Monday, July 31, 4-7 p.m. Prayers offered at Kutis, Tuesday, August 1, 11:30 a.m. then to Assumption Catholic Church (4725 Mattis Rd) for 12 p.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to Evelyn’s House , Michael J. Fox Foundation or St Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Center 308 Plaza Wy, Arnold, MO 63010.

  1. Beth, John, I’m so sorry for your loss. During his healthier years, Al was always willing to help usher at 9 am Mass at Assumption. I enjoyed our conversations prior to Mass. He was very proud of you John. Your family is in my prayers.
