In Loving Memory

Richard Green

Richard Green, aged 73, of Saint Louis, MO, departed from this earthly realm on December 7, 2023. Born on February 15, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan. Richard was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Those left to treasure Richard’s memory are his loving wife of 45 years, Sandi Green, his daughter Annemarie Westmoreland, granddaughters Emily and Madeline Westmoreland, his son Gary Patti and his brothers Brian and Larry Green along with his extended family. We honor his beloved son, Daniel Green, who preceded Richard in death as their sprits converge in eternal harmony. Richard was known for his kind nature and radiant sense of humor. He had a heart full of love for his family and Sheltie dogs, all of whom brought him immense joy. His infectious laughter added levity to the most challenging of situations and brightened the lives of those who were blessed with his company. His warm and caring nature made him a cherished friend and beloved family member who was always there to lend a compassionate ear and offer unwavering support. Richard will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live forever in our hearts.

  3. My deepest condolences to Sandi and the entire Green family and Friends.
I have known Ricky (still call him the name i was introduced with by his mom)… since he was a very young boy. We lived next door to each other on Cedar St. I was dear friends with his mom and she and I spent many days with the kids. Ricky was always such fun and he always told me that He loved me like a second mom. He knew I was from Croatia and he would tease me and say, “one day i will marry a Croatian girl”. I never forgot that! He and I have had many conversations through out all these years and remained connected. I am very sad that He is no longer able to pick up the phone and shall miss him terribly. When my Daughter Diane was here we called Ricky and had a very long chat in late October…I can still hear his chuckles and even tho we could not see each other I knew his eyes were sparkling. My most sincere condolences. Love, Denise (Danica) Kramer

  4. My deepest condolences to Sandi and Family and to all who knew and loved him. I am so very sad that Ricky has left this world and am still trying to process this. I have known Ricky since I was born. He and his family lived next door to us growing up on Cedar Street. My mom always felt as if He were her adopted son and He shared the very same feelings. He loved to call my mom and Mom always enjoyed their conversations. I too had many years of wonderful conversations by phone and by text -being we live in different states. I was grateful we could keep in touch and share the joys and sorrows in our lives. It means a great deal to have meaningful conversations with true friends. He always truly cared about people and always reached out to those who needed a friendly ear. I shall miss our talks but am grateful that Ricky was a friend. I do not know where we go when we leave our bodies, but I truly hope that he is in a place of love and Light and that he can be reunited with those who have passed before him and rest in peace. …and that he will live within our heart and memories for all time. I shall miss his humor and stories…more then words could ever express. Once Again, May all our hearts who grieve from this sad passing gently heal in time, and may the wonderful memories of Ricky fill our hearts with everlasting love. My deepest condolence in loving memory of Ricky.
