In Loving Memory

Adams, Faith K. (nee Springer)

Passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 88, surrounded by her family.

Faith is preceded in death by her beloved husband Howard Adams. Through the day of her passing, she remained a devoted and loving mother to Wayne (Sue) Adams and Sharon (Dave) Russell; adoring grandmother to Kristen (John) Garner, Brian Russell, Katie (Tony) Moore and David Adams; cherished great-grandmother to Jackson, Benjamin and Olivia. She was also a beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and friend to the many people she touched during her life.

Throughout her life she was committed to being a devoted servant of God, a teacher in the Riverview Garden School District and she touched many lives through her vibrant and giving spirit. But most of all, her greatest love was family, children and grandchildren. Nothing was more important to her than spending time with them.

Faith was a devoted member of St. Peters United Church of Christ her entire life. Raising her family there, serving there and enjoying many lifelong friendships.

Faith gifted her body to Washington University School of Medicine.

Services: A memorial service  will be held Tuesday October 19, 2:00 PM at Friendship Village Chesterfield (1520 Olive Blvd., 63017)… please enter through main entrance for Covid screening.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests remembrances be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or Operation Food Search. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the amazing staff who cared for Mom at Friendship Village.

Kutis Affton service.

  3. Dear Wayne, Sue, Sharon, Dave, and families.
I am so very sorry that you lost Faith. I have known Faith and Howard since the sixth grade at Farragut School, then Beaumont High, then Harris Teachers College and then Howard at Mizzou.
They attended several of our High School Reunions, and we would on occasion run into Faith with Buz at the Frontenac Theatre.
God’s Love always has met and always will meet every human need, so I hold the thought that your needs will be met, and know that Faith has gone on to prepare a place for you, as has Our Father.
    Love,

  15. Sending prayers to Wayne, Sharon, and all of her family and friends. Aunt Faith was so special to me, and I will greatly miss her. She loved her family so much and during our phone calls and visits, she was so eager to brag on her grandkids Katie, David, Kristen and Brian. She was so proud of each of you, and loved you all so much! She had a special bond with all of you and I always looked forward to hearing her stories and how well you were doing. Aunt Faith could make me laugh with her (sometimes) sarcastic sense of humor. She was so giving and caring; a classy lady with a down to earth personality. She always asked how our cows were doing, a question I found so funny but thoughtful. God Bless Aunt Faith, she is with the Lord and no longer uncomfortable. She will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all.
    Love, Julie

  17. I am a Friendship Village resident. Faith was in my water class when she was able to come. I also had dinner with her and enjoyed her company at entertainment and other activities. She was a neat woman and I am so sorry for her passing. When you decide to have a memorial service, please reach out to the village so we might come to it. Thank You.
