  1. Dear Applebaum Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Karen was such an amazing person, so full of life and kindness. When I first moved to St. Louis as a kid in my early 20’s, I had no family here and only knew a few people. I will never forget all the holidays and family functions with the Appelbaum’s that I was able to be a part of. She always made such an effort to make sure I felt included. It made a huge difference in helping me adjust to my new life in St. Louis. It is something I will never forget. I send you all my love and prayers!
