Bokamper, Susan A. (nee Colletta) Wednesday December 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late James B. Bokamper. Dear mother of Matthew (Theresa) Bokamper. Dear grandmother of May Bokamper. Dear daughter of the late Paul and Joan Colletta. Dear sister of Nancy Colletta, William (Jennifer) Colletta, Marianne (Joe) Ojile, Karen (Randy) Renner and Barb Rosenbloom. Dear sister-in-law of Mary (Ron) Sharek, Jane (Francis) Kaiser and Donna (Greg) Casalone. Our dear aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin and friend of many.

Susan was a retired teacher at St. Francis of Assisi School after 43 years of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 4556 Telegraph Rd. (63129) appreciated.

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saturday December 20, 9:30 am to St. Francis of Assisi Church for 10:00 am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4-8 pm.

  1. oh my goodness, so sad to hear this. Sue was a beloved teacher at SFA. She was amazing, and so good for my son. We are so sorry for your loss, Matt and the entire family.

  2. Although I did not get the opportunity to work with Sue when she taught at St. Francis, I did get to know her when she was a substitute in my classroom as well as some of my fellow teachers’ classrooms. Her smile and infectious laughter always brighten my day. I am truly sorry for your loss.

  3. Colletta family, may God embrace you during your time of need. May her soul rest in peace. Sue was a wonderful friend to many, a very much appreciated teacher at SFA and her legacy will live on through all those students she taught over 43 years. Her spirit will remain alive and full of fun. We all lost a good person today. My heart hurts for all of you.

  4. Dear Matthew Theresa and all the Coletta /Bokamper Family. I have known Sue since growing up had the honor and privilege to work with her at SFA and Matt being in my daughters’ class. Words are not enough. She was and is forever loved. Just know our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I first met her when I was younger going to SFA and later Matt being in my daughters class,then the honor and privilege of getting to work with her.   10. I was fortunate to teach with Sue and be one of Matt’s teachers at St. Francis of Assisi School. I’m so sorry for your loss, Matt.   11. My prayers to the family …hoping all the memories fill your hearts at this time . I gifted her a painting in 8th grade I painted and she would remind me she still had it hanging in her home . She was wonderful teacher , a role model, and person.
