In Loving Memory

Brown, Agnes Iola

Agnes Iola Brown fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church Friday, April 12, 2024.  Dearest wife of the late John G. Brown; dearest mother of RuthAnn (Cliff) Hartzell, Roxann (Ken Kleinschrodt) Taylor and the late Jeffery Brown; beloved grandma of Sara (Brian), Andrew, Ariel, Lydia, Jonah and the late Noah; dear sister of Mary (the late William) Cibulka and the late Esther Wilson, William Daugherty and Martin Daugherty; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Lola was an amazing person a good friend and Catholic.  She did so much for so many with no concern or consideration of status.  Fiercly private and strong.  She taught us so much about the meaning of true giving and real support all confidentially.  She loved easily and she was so easy to love.

Services:  Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Road Wednesday, April 17, 3-8pm.  Funeral Mass at St. David Catholic Church 2334 Tenbrook Road Arnold, MO 63010, on Thursday, April 18 at 10am.  Concludes at church.  Burial at St. Stephens Cemetery Richwoods, MO meet at cemetery 1:30pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. David’s  St. Vincent dePaul 2334 Tenbrook Road Arnold, MO 63010, appreciated.

  1. Iola’s love of others will be felt beyond her passing from this world. Her legacy of help with St David Parish and the Society of St Vincent de Paul will be gratefully remembered, especially her prayers for us all when she was unable to physically help in the food pantry and other works that she loved. May the angels joyfully welcome her to her Heavenly reward.
