Chrissy re-entered the workforce in 2021 and was most recently employed at Centene Corporation, where she worked hard and was recently rewarded as a top performer in her role.
Chrissy had compassion toward others, and a soft spot for dogs, advocating for lost dogs or those needing homes. Her own dogs, Bear and Honey, were the apple of her eye. They were her children and she loved them unconditionally.
Chrissy had a lovely smile and a hearty laugh that could make even the grumpiest of people happy. She had a wicked sense of humor and a beautiful soul. She loved her family and friends deeply and will be greatly missed.
A breast cancer survivor, Chrissy worked hard and overcame many challenges, proving to herself and others that she was a fierce warrior, despite the battles she had to fight. Chrissy was very brave through years of suffering. It is fitting that Chrissy is called home during this Lenten season, a time when we remember God’s love through Jesus’ suffering and death, to His resurrection. We are comforted in knowing that it is Chrissy’s time to rise, be relieved of her suffering, and spend eternal life with God, her parents, sisters, and all her loved ones who have passed before.
In celebration of Chrissy’s life, funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Church located at 4900 Ringer Road in Oakville, MO 63129. The family greeting is at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m.
