Erin M. Cummins- Baker, 42, of University City, Missouri, passed away on November 4, 2025. A private funeral mass will take place at Incarnate Word Parish on November 12, 2025. 

 

Born in Paducah, Kentucky, on July 27, 1983, Erin attended Lyon County High School and graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Erin went on to earn her Master of Arts, Applied Behavior Analysis, Degree from Ball State. 

 

Erin had many professional accomplishments; including: Hon. Adjunct Assistant Professor for Saint Louis University, Clinical Director at Behavior Frontiers in Clayton Missouri, Owner and Behavior Analyst at Baker Behavioral Consultants in St. Louis Missouri. Her licenses and certifications included: Board Certified Behavior Analyst and State of Missouri Behavior Analyst.  

 

In 2019, Erin was on the board of directors for Compton Heights Neighborhood Betterment Association. She organized and implemented beautification efforts in the historic neighborhood and community garden. 

 

A board certified behavior analyst,  Erin was the Clinical Director of Shining Steps ABA in Chesterfield Missouri and known for her dedication to clients and community.  Erin loved her church, enjoyed a good coffee shop, fresh flowers, and cherishing time with her children.  

 

Erin was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter E. Jones Jr., Christie Jones, Kenneth Cummins, Gloria Sue Cummins, her Aunt Kelly Cummins, and her Uncle Mike Jones 

 

She is survived by her children Ryan Kate and Ari Baker, parents Terry and Tammy Cummins, brother Bryan Cummins (Nichole), nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins

 

Erin was a member of Incarnate Word Parish in Chesterfield Missouri. She will be remembered for her giving heart and love for her family. Her laughter was a gift to everyone who knew her.

  2. Erin was a light to the world. Personally, she and I had such a strong connection and I will always love her like a little sister. My heart goes out to her children, parents and brother, whom I will also always love. May God give them grace.

  3. Erin your smile , your laugh, your compassion are so missed in Oundle England where you attracted friends like butterflies to a beautiful flower. The time you spent on this earth was too too short but my did you make a difference. Love you always Erin. Suzie Sage
