In Loving Memory

Davis, Kenneth M.

Kenneth Davis passed away on Thursday, March 6th at the age of 88.

Proceeded in death my Lawrence and Grace Davis (parents) and his siblings Don and Joann and a child named Kenneth.

He is survived by his wife Margaret (Donnelly) married for 64 years, his children Larry, Gary, Tom, Michelle and Donna.  Grandpa to Justin, Ally, Austin, Lexi and Marcos.  Great Grandpa to Brooks and Grady.  Brother to Carol and Kathleen.  As well as many extended family members and friends.

He worked at White Rodgers (Emerson Electric) for 43 years as a senior purchasing agent.  He was in the Marine Corps from 1955 – 1957.  He also worked as umpire for baseball and softball games.

His hobbies included bowling, softball, golf, fishing and attending his kids and grandkids sporting events.  He was active in the Holy Name Society at St. Simon church, participated in “the old gang” club and occasionally served meals to retired Marines.

Two days before he passed, he asked us to share these works of advice to his friends and family.  #1 Go out and enjoy life – that’s what it’s all about.  #2.  Always focus on the positive things and not the negative.  It was communicated to him that he was loved. He is described by his family as awesome and he was everyone’s biggest fan!!   He will be missed.

  5. My sincere condolences to Aunt Marge, Larry, Tom, Gary and Donna. This journey in your life is hard and never really makes sense. So many questions. I choose to believe he is in his eternal home. Where he is very much alive and so beautiful and he has his watchful eye on all of you. His love continues. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  6. Tom, I just saw this….words can’t express the proper emotions at times like this. I remember his smile watching Justin over the years and how proud of him he was…he was always kind and he had such a great presence about him that made people comfortable…at least he did me…you and your family are in our thoughts during this difficult time. Listen to your father, focus on #2 to help get through the feelings of loss and remember his easy and genuine smile! Thinking of you buddy!
