  1. Your presence in our lives goes beyond anyone’s comprehension. No one I’ve ever met has compared to your loving and giving spirit.

You have gone over and beyond in life as well now in death . Once again you have gone on to achieve a first place in what we all know is inevitable and forthcoming.

You win and we freely give you the gold medal 🏅

Everything you have given of yourself will live on in all of us for as long as we shall live and until we meet again.

There is no life left untouched by knowing you and your goodness.

Your star will always be the brightest in the skies of our lives.

We shall cherish the memories of all your many kindnesses.

We will love you forever and envelope ourselves in the love you so abundantly gave to everyone you ever met

My condolences to all of the family and your many many many friends.

My life will forever be enriched by the friendship we shared and I will never forget you. 🤠❤️🦘

  2. Bob has been one of the most beautiful people I have known. He had a way of making everyone around him feel special. He loved his sweets but his simple presence made life sweeter. God now has someone to challenge him at Ping Pong and name that tune. 💕

  5. I had the privilege of knowing Bob for a couple of years—definitely not long enough—but the time we shared was more than enough to leave a lasting impact. He brought so much value into the lives of those around him.

Bob had a way of lighting up a room with his humor and sarcasm, always ready with a quick wit or a joke. At the same time, he had a genuine passion for making others happy. His heart was big, and he cared deeply about the people in his life. He loved his son and daughter and was so proud of the lives they were building for themselves. He spent as much time as possible with them and his friends.

Whether it was jumping into a game or talking about the Chiefs, Bob had a way of connecting with people that made you feel seen and appreciated. He truly knew how to touch lives in a meaningful way.

He will be deeply missed, and I’m grateful for the time I got to know him.

  8. I reconnected with Bob only a few years ago. Since then he became a regular with our Wednesday night dinners (with several other Prep North alumni). I and the other Wednesday night friends caught up quickly with Bob and got to know what a special person he was. I shall miss his (looong) stories, his laugh and his smile. Mostly i shall miss his quiet strength and strong faith. I have no doubt those are what kept him living as long as he did with the pain and suffering he endured. He will be missed.

  11. I worked with Bob for several years at Schnucks. He was not only my mentor, but a very good friend. He played a big role in shaping me into the leader and person I am today. I will never forget what he taught me—both about the job and about life.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I know what it’s like to lose a dad, and it’s the worst feeling in the world.
Rest in peace, my friend. I’ll see you again someday.
