Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Monday July 3 at 9:30 am. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Member of American Legion Joseph L. Frank Memorial Post 777. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital or Crosspoint Church Missions appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-9 pm.
Wonderful friend and man of God. Will always be remembered.

Heavenly Father, You knew Ed very well, and decided to call him home. We love Ed, and we will miss Ed. He was a servant of Yours, and we are sure that he is rejoicing. Father, even though we know that he is with You, it hurts. We miss him, but we have our wonderful memories of him. Holy Spirit, You are the Comforter, and we ask You to comfort his family and friends. When we think of Ed, may we think on the love that he shared with us, talking about Jesus. We ask this in Jesus Name, thanking You for hearing us. We love You, Father. Amen
We lost the Leader of our Sunday Night Life Group gang who was so full of Life…
Now God has that precious person who was the energy of our group.

Judy. so sorry for your loss. Ed was a great man of God, and your partner and best friend. I will be out of town at the service times, but you will and have been in my thoughts. Take comfort that we know where he is now, and that you will see him again. May God give you all strength and peace.

We are deeply saddened by this news. Ed was a rock in terms of his leadership back in the days of the men’s ministry. He was also a guidepost for us when the Lord called us to serve in Brazil. We look forward to seeing this dear brother in Glory.
What a great servant of God. You cannot measure the impact God had through Ed. He has finally met his Lord.

Brother Earl, I have fond memories of him, and when I gave my life to Jesus, he Baptize me in his backyard in his pool, a day I will always remember!

Judy, now that your sweet Ed has passed into Glory and met our Lord face to face, we understand the rejoicing that he is experiencing. However, we are praying for you in your grief of his no longer being here with you. Ed was so kind to us, and he emanated Jesus all the time. “Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.” We pray that this scripture will be close in your heart as you walk through your grief journey. Sorry we couldn’t come to the funeral. ED was a great example to all the men of our church. He was a strong man of faith a good family man, and a great friend. He influenced so many people not only here in St. Louis, but around the world with his work on the missions field. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
