Klamert

In Loving Memory

Klamert, Leigh

Leigh Klamert, beloved wife, mother, and master gardener, passed away peacefully at the age of 59. Born with a nurturing spirit, Leigh devoted her life to caring for her family and cultivating beauty in the world around her.
Leigh is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Bob Klamert, and their two cherished sons, Joshua and Jason Klamert. Her passion for gardening brought joy to her family and neighbors alike, as she created vibrant spaces filled with flowers and vegetables. Alongside her gardening, she found joy in tending to her chickens, sharing her home-cooked meals, and going on long walks, where she often found solace in nature.
Leigh was known for her warm heart, beautiful smile, generous spirit, and unwavering support for her loved ones. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, compassion, and her ability to make everyone feel special.
A celebration of Leigh’s life will be held at a private family memorial. Any flowers can be sent to her home at 1945 Holiday Valley Dr. Arnold, MO, in her memory.
Leigh will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, laughter, compassion, and the vitality she brought into our lives.

  1. Every word above is true, and what a loss this is.

Aunt Leigh, I will miss your check-in texts, fun Christmas pictures, and silly-sweet accidental phone calls. I remember being about 5 years old watching you make a charcoal portrait drawing in the basement of Uncle Bobby’s parents’ house and thought you knew magic! Turns out you did and it showed in everything you created.

I will miss you terribly, though I am glad you’re now able to rest. Thank you for everything. Love you so much!

  2. Well, my heart is broken to hear this news Leigh Was one of my childhood friends for many years until we created our own families her family, and my family used to get together at Fourth of July and have battle rocket fights we enjoyed fishing in the Klamert pond and letting her dog cornflakes dig us worms. I sure did like that dog I could go on and on about the things we’ve did together. I will forever miss you Leigh Until we meet again, I’ll hang onto our memories. My condolences to BOBBY and all the family members.

  3. When my sister told me Leigh had passed away I was in shock. I was not aware she was sick. She was way to young but in our world age does not matter. Now she can rest in peace with no more suffering. I grew up with her and her many siblings as a kids. She was always so sweet never had anything bad to say about anyone. She was so sweet. Prayers 🙏🙏 for all the family.

  4. This broke my heart to hear. We grew up together, childhood friends. I’ve moved away from MO so only got to see her at Dierbergs when I’d come up to see family, but not near enough. I wish I could come up for funeral but I can’t get away right now. I will be praying for Bobby, boys and all the family and friends. She will be missed, with love, Debbie Daniel

  5. I’m so sorry to hear this news. We were childhood friends growing up and she was dearly loved. This is heartbreaking, I will be praying for Bobby, boys and all the family and friends, as I know she will be missed. I hadn’t seen her in years, as I would see her working at dierbergs grocery store when I’d come back home to MO to visit family. With love, Debbie (Burleyson) Daniel
