  1. Joe, thank you for all of the laughter and music throughout my childhood. It was through your record collection that I first met Ray Charles, Don McLean, Chuck Berry, and so many others. Thank you for all the rides around town before we learned to drive. It always made us feel fancy getting a ride to the movies in a cab. Rest in peace, and say hi to the Stooges for me!

    • Thanks Steph. Dad taught me my love of music for sure and no man is better than another regardless of how much money they have, where they lived or the color of their skin. Music will always be my connection to his memory

  5. Joe was one of those characters that you’ll never forget. He had a great sense of humor and was a genuine nice guy. Although I haven’t seen him in recent years I still consider him a friend. May his family find peace.

  6. We have one memorable picture of Joe years ago when Joe , had major shoulder surgery and had a cast that immobilized his arm, yet there he was
trying to help building a roof over aunt Hatz and Uncle Art’s boat dock!
You had to be there to appreciate the banter going on between Uncle Art,
Cousin’s Rich, Ron and Jerry aimed at Joe’s immobile one arm help, yet he took it in stride. They finished the project with out anyone (Joe) falling in.

He had to leave his family with an appreciation for music! A nice thing to leave. Let’s pray he takes it to heaven ?
