This is a terrible tragedy. I knew Jason from Nellie Glenn’s bar on Gravois. I recently ran into him at Walgreen’s and exchanged pleasantries. My deepest condolences.

We are heartbroken over this senseless tragedy. To know Jason was to love him. Over the last few years, Jason had done some gardening and some construction work for us. He was not only a hard worker, but had become a very dear friend that brought us love and joy.
RIP, Jason. We will miss ya kiddo!
Love, Pam & Paul
Bob and Lois I am sorry to hear about this awful tragedy – my condolences to you and your family. Jason was a good man and fun to hang out with. I have missed working with both of you. May God comfort you and give you and your wife the strength to overcome this tragedy with time. RIP
Jason it’s been a long time we where besties as teens and you always had a outgoing personality ,positive outlook, God I pray that you give extra strength and love to Jason’s parents . Rest in peace I love you …
I’m only just finding out about this tragic news. It seems surreal. I’m still processing it. Jason and I met in the same Kindergarten class, which makes him the very first friend I’ve had in my life timeline. From K-4, we had all but one class together. We’ve had many adventures together as children, teenagers and young adults.
I remember when he had a pet turtle and he released it at a river his parents took us swimming to prior. I remember his cocker spaniel Ru (short for Rusty?) and two orange cats Simon and Milo. Lois had to keep the cats’ food dishes in the bathroom with a gate because Ru would eat their food.
Jason and I would become classmates again in 8th grade, and it didn’t take him long to woo the ladies. I was shy and awkward then, but he had charisma, charm, and amiability even then – and those good looks didn’t hurt either.
My heart goes to his parents Lois and Bob. I’ll miss you, Jay. Look after Ru, Milo, and Simon.
