Nancee Jean Overmann went to our heavenly father on August 29th, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late Alvin and Imogene (McDermott) Overmann. Preceded in death by her sisters Mary Ann Fowler and Jeannie Anderson, brother-in-law Greg Fowler and her niece Melynda Fowler. Nancee leaves behind her sisters and brother-in-laws Jeanetter Froehlich, Sr. Kathy Overmann, D.C. Rosemary Overmann, Bill Anderson, Joan and Bill Halaz, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Nancee also leaves behind many cousins and friends.
Nancee had spent the last four years at Bethesda Southgate where she had met many people and their families and became close to them. There was a small group of them that shared the love of being outside and they spent many mornings and afternoons outside enjoying each others company. The kindness their families showed to Nancee will not be forgotten. Nancee had her favorite caretakers and enjoyed getting to know them. We are forever grateful to those dedicated employees.
Most of Nancee’s working life was spent working at a bank, but the years that she worked with children with disabilities was the most rewarding for her. Her first job was lifeguarding in High School. She also worked at a summer camp in Colorado when she was working as an aide in the public school system. Nancee loed to read and do jigsaw puzzles. What made her day the brightest was when she was visited by her family and friends. If they happened to have little ones with them, that was a bonus for her. She enjoyed watching them play and when they interacted with her. Nancee will be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.

Our sincere condolences to Nancee’s family. We were blessed to know Nancee over the last 7 years as she attended birthday parties for grand nephews and supported her nephew Andrew as he coached college volleyball before her health would no longer allow it. Nancee was always so friendly and cheerful and we were always happy to spend a little time chatting with her. Our prayers are with your family at this time of loss and we pray for comfort and healing.
Thank you Nancy . Let me be a part of your family Me and Debra We really enjoyed ourself At your family Christmas party Also all the other things that I took you to. You have your wings now. Love you rest in peace
My favorite memory of Nancee is when I won a popcorn potato the St. Francis of Assisi Card Party. She always kidded me that I never brought her popcorn. Hope you are having a popcorn party in heaven with your mom, dad, Mary Ann and Jeannie and all your friends that went before you!
My condolences to all of Nancee’s family. I have many good memories of her. So sorry for your loss
One of my favorite memories of Nancy and all the Overmann’s was at Lake Tishamingo in Hillsboro Mo. Quite a few families would gather down there a couple times during the summer months, all us young folks would find fun fishing, boating and swimming while all the adults were in the patio enjoying “beverages”, EE thougth the lake was as big as the ocean!!
Great- great memories!!🪽🪽
God Bless

So sorry to hear of Nancee’s passing. I have enjoyed talking with her about books and The Young and The Restless. Always a smile on her face as she sat out side reading her books. Will definitely miss her. My mom, Marilyn, sat out on the porch with her at Bethesda. Prayers and hugs to the family.
So sorry for your loss. I also have a lot of great memories, especially of Lake Tishamingo, like Jack said. Sending prayers your way.
