Grandpa Jerry will be remembered as a gentle giant who loved big and loved hard on his family. His greatest gift was making people feel at home with him, and his family is truly evidence of his legacy. His charm and wit, his “lists” on clean-up weekend, the way he asked for a martini with no words but rather a wink and a smile, his cute chuckle, his humility….most of all the way he shined. God shined on him and through him and reflected the qualities of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, self-control, and faith – He was a good man. I’ll sure miss him dearly.
