Schwent (nee Wibbenmeyer) and the late Velma Schwent (nee Peiffer); dearest father of Shirley (the late Jim) Fox, Jeanne (Leland) Lamm, Tamara (Jeff) Smith and the late Larry (survived by Liz Murphy) Schwent; step-father of Mike (Sharon) Peiffer and Ken (Sherri) Peiffer; brother of Oscar, the later Milferd Schwent, Angeline Behrle, Bernard Schwent, Bernadine Sauer and Virgil Schwent; grandpa of Sandy (Daniel) Kleffner, James (Melissa) Fox, Cindy (Dean) Stutte, Kendall, Curtis, Debra Lamm, Melissa, Amanda Schwent, Jason (Syndal) and Rachel Smith; great-grandpa of 14; step-grandpa of 4; step-great-grandpa of 9; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Service Saturday, November 20, 9:30 am from Kutis AFFTON Chapel to St. Catherine Laboure for a 10:00 am Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial Contributions maybe made to Masses, ALS, (1950 Craig Rd., Suite 200, St. Louis MO 63146), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) (PO Box 37920, Boone IA 50037-0920). Visitation Friday 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
