Sterling, Etta Nadine

Etta “Nadine” Sterling, 82, of Imperial died Nov. 9, 2016, in St. Louis. Mrs. Sterling was a retired clerk with the service department at Sears. Born Aug. 14, 1934, in East Prairie, she was the daughter of the late Cashus and Mary (Oliver) England.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Claude L. Sterling; two children: Claudia (Terry) Streckfuss of Imperial and Rodney (Debra) Sterling of Imperial; four grandsons: Scott (Sara) Streckfuss of Imperial, Dale (April) Streckfuss of Imperial, Brandon (Lauren) Sterling of St. Louis County and Christopher (Ashley) Sterling of Arkansas; and 10 great-grandchildren: Ethan, Sydney and Evan Streckfuss of Imperial; Jillianna, Trinity and Kase Streckfuss of Pacific; Lindsey Duckworth of Texas; and Damien, Dennis and Danica Wellervolz of Pacific. She was preceded in death by three siblings: Charles England, Frances Dodge and Sharon Schisler; and a great-granddaughter: Hope Streckfuss.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Wednesday, November 14, 12 Noon,  Interment J.B. National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4 pm until 8 p.m.
