Unash, William Charles “Bill” “Willie”

January 10, 1942 - February 21, 2024

William “Bill” “Willie” Charles Unash born January 10th, 1942 met his creator, savior and lord on February 21st, 2024

Son, brother, cousin, Marine; husband of Terese “Terry”, father of Kevin Unash and Heather (Jaime) Miller, grandfather of sam, Ellie and Josie Miller and Olivia and Sophia Unash, father-in-law, brother-in-law and friend to many.

Bill chose to to serve his country by enlisting in the Marine Corps from 1961-1965, receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Corporal E-4.

Bill had an excellent work ethic as a 36 year employee as a Ramp Service Cargo Engineer, working for both TWA and American Airlines.

Bill was an avid sportsman , spectator and supporter of baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball. Good health and exercise were  very important in his daily regiment.

Since 1992 Bill was a dedicated servant of the lord in his church, Trinity Assembly of God, performing many wide and varied duties.

Services: Kutis Affton Chapel, Visitation Sunday, February 25th from 4pm to 8pm; Funeral Service, Monday, February 26th at 11am; Internment immediately after at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity Assembly of God Church.

  2. Bill was a great man. He always had something positive to say and was keeping active by walking around the block. He would give us bread all the time that we fondly called “Bill Bread”. Bill can rest easy knowing that he was such a pure person and a great friend.

  6. My dad worked with Bill and I had the privilege of knowing him all my life. Bill was an incredible man and someone I always admired.

      I remember your dad fondly! My dad was Bill, I think we were at several softball tournaments together growing up!
